In August 2010, I took over our previous home of Diva-Fiva.com and invested, time, money and love into resurecting the site, after the former Owner and team fled following a storied past. Turning it into a titan in the realm of Women’s Wrestling News Website.
Here at WomenofWrestling.org, we will be bringing over all of our current staff, whom all have a sincere love about Women’s Wrestling, Alicia has been a loyal member of the team for what must be well over two years and various other members have joined our team such as Brie and Gabriella, whom are our loyal Fashion Team, covering all aspects of Photoshoot reviewings and fashion blogging. Dustin joined our team as a Television reviewer covering all aspects of Smackdown until his role grew eventually to takeover that of TNA’s television offering of Impact Wrestling. Sam joined the team in his first run with us as Interviewer and Blogger, he gained various prestigious interviews with WWE Hall of Famer, Class 2011 Tamara “Sunny” Sytch just to mention the one, before he re-joined the team in mid 2011 to retake the mantel of Interviewer and Blogger, reviving our Good, Bad & Ugly Blog. Erin joined our team as an occasional Blogger, but not full time. Tom is the newest member of the team who has become a key corner stone of our Independent Wrestling scene.
In Late 2010-Early 2011 Derek, joined us and brought across his exclusive video interviews from DieHard Pro Wrestling bringing us exclusive interviews with Mercedes Martinez, Seven-Time Women’s Champion Trish Stratus, Indy Wrestling Stars Roxie Cotton and Portia Perez. In Mid-2011 Chris Ray joined the team from Divas411 and brought his exclusive blog with him which was eventually titled DivaVoice along with him following years of running a Social Network for all fans of Women’s Wrestling.
In August of 2011 virtually twelve months following the Takeover of our previous domain we have tripled our amounts of hits and eventually out grew our previous Hosts, now with the continued vision of respecting Women’s Wrestling and moving us forward and out of the pidgeon hole of the Diva side of the Women’s Wrestling market, WomenofWrestling.org aims to cover all aspects of Women’s Wrestling from the Mainstream side of WWE and TNA Wrestling and their analogue Women’s Divisions of Divas and Knockouts.
WomenofWrestling.org will begin to cover various other Independent Wrestling scenes, such as the Women’s Wrestling Scene in Japan to the Indy Scene in America covering all areas from Shimmer Women’s Athletes to our friends over at World Independent Ladies’ Division (WILD Wrestling) and LuchaPro Wrestling along with Pro Wrestling EVE at the heart of the UK Independent Scene of Women’s Wrestling. We also aim to cover all various Women’s Divisions throughout the world.
Following well over twelve Months loyal service to all the sites, Alicia and Brie took the decision to leave the site on Thursday 25th August, with my (Rob) blessing to set up their own site based all around the Fashion side of Women’s Wrestling.
On February 21, 2013. The Smooth Gentleman known from his radio Court Of Champions radio show and the @WomensCertified page on twitter accepted the role as Editor of WomenofWrestling.org. He looks to extend the coverage of our website and help it cover the best women’s wrestling from anywhere on the globe.
In a Nutshell; WomenofWrestling.org is and will become The Home for Women’s Wrestling.
