We start the night off with an eager John Cena ranting. Then Eve introduces Johnny. Johnny comes out on a scooter and Eve helps him up. I’m so very glad Eve turned heel. She is great at it! Eve stands by for Big Show’s speech and performs as Johnny’s right hand man.
Now we have AJ trying to talk to Punk in the hallway after Punk did commentary for Daniel Bryan’s match against Kane. Awkward much? AJ looks extremely happy (all things considered) and she tells Punk, “I just wanna tell you something.” Punk is grinning too at this point, he asks her if she’s completely off her rocker. AJ giggles slightly, and she says assures him she’s not. She just wanted to tell him that, she enjoyed watching Punk beat up Bryan. “Oh so you’re not crazy, you’re just really sadistic?” Ladies and germs, that is the quote of the month. I certify it as so. AJ starts to get upset a little (this gives my the psycho Mickie vibe). She smiles and Punk asks for a time out. Punk tells AJ that she’s the one acting like a fool. AJ gets upset again and Punk looks like a five year old who’s poking a sleeping bear with a stick. Did you feel that one? No? How about this one? AJ starts to cry and Punk sighs. Punk tries to comfort her, but he doesn’t know how. AJ is sobbing and Punk is now trying to calm the bear down after poking it too hard. Punk tells her to “bring it in” and he hugs her. Punk tries everything to get her to stop crying. She flips the crying switch off and gazes at Punk like a lost puppy. Punk says, “You know I sorta date crazy chicks.” Ones that boil your pet rabbit? He walks away and AJ looks estranged again.
Now we see Kelly walking to the ring in a beautiful new set of ring gear. She’s all smiles. It’s hard to believe she hasn’t been showcased in ages! She has a match against Beth Phoenix after the commercial break! Other than her metallic UGG boots, K2 looks ready to roll! Beth makes a stunning entrance in some new attire too! Beth looks determined coming off a loss last night at OTL. They start out in the standing position about to lock up, but Beth takes Kelly down and lands some serious mountain punches! She stomps Kelly a couple times before the referee gets her to back away. Beth then scoops up Kelly with such ease, Kelly might as well be a feather. She slams Kelly hard onto the mat and Kelly grunts in pain. Beth flings Kelly’s arm to the side and drops an elbow drop onto it. Beth then runs the ropes and hits a leg drop (something we don’t usually see from the Glamazon). Beth goes for a pin and gets a two count. Layla watches backstage with an unclear emotion on her face. Beth brings Kelly to her feet and the two swap punches. Beth pushed Kelly back into the ropes and stands by in position awaiting Kelly’s return. Kelly kicks Beth in the face and Beth stands up straight. Kelly runs and goes for a head-scissor I’m guessing. Kelly uses her skills to try to pull a small package pin on Beth. A very versatile move for Kelly, but Beth kicks out at one. Kelly goes for more, but ends up eating Beth’s arm in a clothesline. Beth runs Kelly’s face across the mat furiously. She yanks Kelly up by her hair and slams onto the ground again. Beth whips Kelly into the corner. Beth goes to slam into Kelly, but Kelly dunks out of the way and Beth wraps around the turnbuckle. Kelly jumps on Beth sending her onto her back on the mat. Kelly gets a punch in, Beth bucks her off. Kelly runs the ropes and locks on the “Kelly Go Round” I’m dubbing it. Beth lands into the corner eating more turnbuckle. Dentist must love wrestlers. Kelly then takes it to Beth, screaming all the while. Kelly tells the crowd to “c’mon” and they cheer a little louder. Kelly stands at one corner, while Beth sulks in the opposite. Kelly sets up for a cartwheel across the ring into her signature elbow smash. Beth hits her in the back of the head before the move can connect! Kelly lies motionless. Beth pulls her limp body closer and sets up for the Glam-Slam. Kelly “unconsciously” slams to the mat and gets covered for the win.
